Gifts Inn BoonsBoro will host an opening reception for local artist Dan Murphy’s exhibit “Connections: New Works of Art by Daniel Paul Murphy” on Feb. 1 from 4–6 p.m. The exhibit will be at Gifts Inn BoonsBoro through March 2. Dan is an award-winning pen and ink artist from Hagerstown who specializes in rustic farm and landscape scenes. He also enjoys creating watercolors of old fashioned rural settings and painting in the “plein air” style. Dan exhibits his work at Gifts Inn BoonsBoro and online at www.DanielPaulMurphy.com.
Gifts Inn BoonsBoro’s annual Chocolate and Champagne Reception will be February 6 from 6–9 p.m. The evening will feature fine artisan chocolates created by Zoë’s Chocolate Co., along with an exciting assortment of handcrafted jewelry crafted by local and regional artisans.
