The Potomac Playmakers have announced the latest show of the 2017–2018 season,
Arthur Miller’s classic drama, "All My Sons." Taking place during World War II, Joe
Keller and Herbert Deever run a machine shop that makes airplane parts.
Herbert was sent to prison because the plant turned out defective parts,
causing the deaths of twenty-one pilots. Joe went free, and made a lot of
money. The twin shadows of this catastrophe and the fact that the Kellers’
youngest son was reported missing in action dominate the action of the play.
The love affair of Chris Keller and Ann Deever, the bitterness of George
Deever returned from the war to find his father in prison, and his father’s
partner free, are all set in a structure of almost unbearable power. The
climax shows the reaction of a son to a guilty father is a fitting
conclusion to a play electrifying in its intensity!
Produced under special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. and
directed by Cathy James, All My Sons stars Richard Dobson, April Fox,
Christine Miller-Grable, Barry Harbaugh, Jeff Marcum, Mandy Matvia, Danielle
Popp, Nic Sigman, and Jim Zuna. All My Sons will run from November 10, 11,
