LuLaRoe Suicide Awareness Fundraiser

Lots of LuLaRoe consultants are coming together to raise money forsuicide awareness! The raised funds will be donated to the suicide walk. Thiswill be held at the Wacohu Grange Hall, located at 16412 National Pike, Hagerstownon September 17 from 3 p.m.–7 p.m. No ticket price and familyfriendly. LuLaRoe is a clothing company that sells comfortablefashion forward clothes for women, kids, and men of all sizes.

Park After Dark

The C&O Canal Trust will be hosting the seventh Annual Park After Darkfundraising gala on Saturday, September 16 at 6 p.m. to benefit theC&O Canal National Historical Park (NHP). Slavery in Washington County with Richard Kline

Join the Contemporary School for the Arts & Gallery and the Washington CountyHistorical Society in celebrating local African American Heritage bywelcoming a series of speakers who will talk about various elements ofAfrican American history in Washington County. Corn Husk Dolls

Learn a new skill, and have fun while doing it! WCHS is celebrating fall bymaking an iconic pioneer toy: the corn husk doll! Pioneer children didn't have access to many regular toys, so they had to becreative when it came to playtime! One of the lasting favorites was made withcorn husks, which were around farms in large quantities. Participants will receive all of the supplies and instruction they need tomake and dress their own pioneer corn husk doll!
