Washington County Arts Council April Exhibits

Washington County Arts Council's main gallery will display Linda Slattery Sherman's "Prints & Paintings with Pottery byAnnamarie Poole," while the hall gallery will display Jimmie Brown's "Dancing — PenMar Park" from Thursday, April 5–Tuesday, May 1, with an opening reception on Thursday, April 5 from 5–7 p.m.Gallery hours are Tuesday–Friday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.Please use the A&E Parking Deck located at 25 Renaissance Way.

The Bowman House located at 323 N. Main St. in Boonsboro, Md.will be open to visitors on Sunday, April 22 between 2–4:30 p.m.Come step back in time and explore this historic site. Hearth cookingdemonstration to include smoked meat, biscuits, spring vegetables, and a mintcustard pie.

Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum Open House

The Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum 1902–1938, locatedat 220 N. Main St. in Boonsboro, Md. will be open to visitors on Sunday, April22 between 2–4 p.m. This restored Trolley Station, used forpassengers and freight, is a part of Boonsboro’s rich heritage.

Stone Soup Rock Painting

Paint along with a childhood classic! "Stone Soup" is the timeless classicchildren's book which teaches the importance of sharing, and you cancreate your own shareable stones to go along with the book. The Historical Society will provide everything you need to paint and take home your own stonesoup stone. Share it with a friend or leave it somewhere to bring a littlepiece of happiness to a stranger! This free event is appropriate for all ages!

10th Annual Panhandle Earth Day Celebration

The 10th annual Panhandle Earth Day Celebration will be held on April 21 from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. at Sam Michael’s Park, Shenandoah Junction, W.Va.Join the community for this celebration at where admission is free. Movies at the Museum

Join the Historical Society at the Miller House for a good, old-fashioned movie night!The popcorn will be provided, so come get cozy in the parlos and enjoya night at the museum!
