Look Away: the Aftermath — A Burning of Chambersburg Exhibit

The Franklin County Historical Society will feature a new exhibit, “LookAway: the Aftermath” beginning on Old Market Day, July 21 and ending Aug.31. The exhibit will feature photographs and items from archives at the OldJail Museum that relate to the burning of Chambersburg in 1864.The exhibit is included with tour admission. Rates are $5 for adults, $4 forchildren 6-12, and $10 for families of two adults and any number of children.Tour hours are Tuesday–Saturday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.The Old Jail...

Threshing Days at Rose Hill Manor Park

Film League Presents "The Birds"

Join Leitersburg Cinemas the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. for aspecial screening selected by the local Film League. Tickets are $4 foreveryone and include a free popcorn. Aug. 6 will be the featured film“The Birds,” (PG-13) released in 1963. Details: leitersburgcinemas.com.

The works of Jonathan & Jan Heath will be on display from August 2–28 at the Washington County Arts Concil, with an opening reception on Thursday, August 2 from 5–7 p.m.Gallery hours are Tuesday–Friday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.–4 p.m.Please use the A&E Parking Deck located at 25 Renaissance Way. WCAC islocated off the third level.
