Maryland Entertainment Group presents "Red"

Maryland Entertainment Group will present "Red," the 2010 Tony award winning play based on the story of Mark Rothko, a 20th-century artist. The two-man, one-act show follow’s the artist’s rise to fame, which stems from the creation of his largest commissioned work and his struggle to stay loyal to his own unique artistic voice. For more information, visit www.megtheatre.org.

Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum

The Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum ca. 1902-1938, located at 220 N. Main St. in Boonsboro will be open to visitors on Sunday, May 21 between 1–4 p.m. This restored Trolley Station, used for passengers and freight, is a part of Boonsboro’s rich heritage.

Bowman House and Museum

The Bowman House located at 323 N. Main St., in Boonsboro, will be open to visitors on Sunday, May 2 1–4 p.m. Hearth demonstrations will include recipes from a local cookbook “Colonial Recipes – From Old Virginia and Maryland Manors” by Maude A. Bomberger, ca. 1907.  A self-guided tour of the Bowman House, 19th century raised bed garden and pottery building will also be open for viewing.
