Look Away: the Aftermath — A Burning of Chambersburg Exhibit

The Franklin County Historical Society will feature a new exhibit, “LookAway: the Aftermath” beginning on Old Market Day, July 21 and ending Aug.31. Benefiting the Smithsburg High School Leopard's Athletics, this event features entertainment for the whole family, with tractors and gas engines, steam and traction engines, a saw and shingle mill, demonstrations, arts, crafts, antiques, a flea market, good home cooking, and kettle cooked soup made over an open fire. Fall Festival at The Children's Museum of Rose Hill Manor Park

Thhis fall festival will include a morning tractor pull on Saturday, and Sunday will feature an afternoon cake auctionand kiddie pedal pull.  There will also be daily hayrides, farm exhibits, demos, animals, food, and for the kids, hands-on crafts, games, and candle-dipping. Admission is free, but fees vary for crafts, games, and food.
