Action Learning is a dynamic approach to problem solving that fosters
collaboration, enhances communication, and develops leadership skills while
focusing on finding practical solutions to real organizational challenges.
The 2017 WIAL-USA Conference is an opportunity for leaders and coaches to
join with experienced Action Learning practitioners to explore ways in which
this powerful, yet simple technique can be used to solve complex problems
while increasing employee engagement and organizational performance.
• Keynote Speaker - Phil Dixon, of Second and Nun Street Group, is deeply
involved in the application of neuroscience; applying it to leadership and
management practices such as coaching, development, change
planning/management, creating culture changes, and Action Learning. During
these complex times where change is the only constant, understanding how the
brain manages behavior and decision-making is more important than ever.
• Action Learning Sessions - Whether you are new to Action Learning, a
seasoned practitioner, or somewhere in between… experience it firsthand at
this conference. You may have heard about it or read about it, but the best
way to learn about it is to experience it!
• Panel Discussion – Hear and interact with a team of panelists who are
currently using Action Learning in varied arenas such as Government,
Non-Profits, Corporations, and Small Businesses.
• Network – Meet and share best practices with coaches, leaders,
leadership educators, and entrepreneurs.
• Renew and Refresh – Enjoy a day of learning and reflecting in beautiful
and historic Frederick!
