Cookie Recipe
Chocolate Dipped Ribbons

Batter:
1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 ½ teaspoon grated orange peel
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 ½ cups flour

Chocolate dip:
1 cup vanilla milk chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all batter ingredients except flour. Beat at medium speed for 2–3 minutes. Reduce speed to low, add flour. Beat an additional 1–2 minutes. Fit cookie press with Ribbon Plate. Press long continuous strips of dough onto cookie tray. Score every 3 inches. Bake 7–9 minutes. Break apart on cuts. Cool.

Melt vanilla chips with 1 tablespoon shortening in microwave. Repeat separately with chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon shortening. Pour melted chocolates side by side in a shallow bowl. Swirl with knife. Dip one end of cooled cookie into marbled chocolate. Place on cooling rack over waxed paper.
